You are sooooo funny.....

Seriously. You are the funniest person I know. What a character you are. Last week do you know what you said? Well, let me tell you.

"Mom. What is this for?"
"What is what for honey?"
"This, right here, this pocket in my panties."
"That's just the way panties are made baby girl."
"Well, I think it's a great spot to keep my suckers and 'tutsie' rolls!"

HaHaHa!!!! I love, love, love you!

Ha! I came home yesterday to this.....

"Mom, Good News! You don't have to use a shaver anymore to shave! I saw a commercial and there is a pink think that is really smooth that you can use."

Gotta love my girl for lookin' out for mama!

Okay, Day, here's my blog...

I have thought, for a very long time, about creating a blog. A place to write. A place to share with others. I have so much fun reading blogs, especially Day's, and her Old Red Barn Blog (dana@oldredbarnco.com ).

But, I could never figure out a good starting place. What in the world would I have to say that others would care to read about? I must admit that, when driving to work, I do think of things that I would like to "get off my chest" as a sort of validation or cleansing or verification. So, I have been searching for the right "starting point". And, now, low and behold, I have one.

Day, over at the Old Red Barn Co., is having a quilt giveaway. Actually, she is giving away three quilts. Amazing. An attorney turned quilter. Somehow the stars aligned right above her head and beneath her toes and she has transformed from the courtroom to the playroom/classroom/quilting room, from the legal briefs to daily kid briefs, from city girl who had amazing clothes from Express, to a country girl with the biggest smile on her face, jeans and tee-shirts.... It's amazing what a Razor, a Boo and a Licous will do for a girl! Okay, back to the "day the blog was created". Dana is allowing folks to rack up the entries, but they have to do "something" to earn "them". I want as many of "them" (the entries) as I can get, b/c I really really want to win one of her quilts. How does this tie together? What one has to do in order to obtain more entries, involves doing it on your blog. No blog. No extra entries. So, wah, lah, here is my blog. Day, you have always had a special way of motivating me, even when you aren't trying. And, why in the sam-hell do I have to go through all of this. Why can't you just make a quilt for your best old pal???? Hmmmmm?
